automotive skills research

Capturing opinions of the Future and Existing Workforce | Phase 1

The Australian car market is expanding, and dealerships and workshops face challenges in finding trained employees for sales, services, and support. Skilled migration is a partial solution, but enhancing our local talent in the automotive sector is crucial. The Mining and Automotive Skills Alliance (AUSMASA) is proactively working to understand the causes of these skill shortages.

We are interested in hearing from people who work within the industry. Your input will help deliver robust, data-driven insights and potential strategies to assist in growing the automotive trade workforce.

AUSMASA has engaged Fifth Quadrant, an accredited market research agency, to conduct an independent research program.

Fifth Quadrant respects your privacy. We will only pass on personally identifiable information if you have given permission for us to do so. View the Fifth Quadrant Privacy Policy

Engaging Stakeholders within the Industry | Phase 2

Fifth Quadrant is also seeking to engage stakeholders across the industry. We will conduct interviews, including a combination of in-person and online conversations. We are looking to speak to industry bodies, training providers, employers, the existing workforce, career advisors and advocacy groups.
