Lake Macquarie Case

The City of Lake Macquarie is located approximately two hours north of Sydney and immediately south of Newcastle. It is one of the largest cites in New South Wales and the fastest growing city in the Hunter region with an estimated residential population of 202,676 as at June 2014 covering 787km2 with the lake being the centrepiece. Lake Macquarie City Council (LMCC) employs approximately 1,100 people, within four divisions: Community Development, City Strategy, Operations and the General Manager’s Secretariat.

For Council to continue to meet the needs of the community now and better meet those needs moving forward, Council engaged Fifth Quadrant to conduct a Customer Experience Review to provide LMCC with a roadmap of change to meet the needs of the community now and into the future.
