The approach

A hybrid approach using a large quantitative sample and qualitative in-depth interviews with CFOs throughout Australia.​ These activities helped us build out the customer behaviour and emotions at each stage of the customer journey, identifying needs and pain points, and providing a clear understanding of how to engage with the customer across different industry sectors.

The challenge

The project requires a large sample of 800 financial decision makers to respond to a 15 minute online survey.​ Getting CFOs to respond to surveys is a challenge given their typically busy schedules and numerous responsibilities. Accordingly, the survey design and project communications were critical to optimise relevance, engagement and confidentiality.

The insight

This research tracks how businesses continue to adapt their asset management and procurement processes to overcome contemporary challenges including the pandemic and supply chain issues. ​

In addition, we track the demand for finance across all asset categories by industry sector and location and evaluate the performance of all lenders across key customer experience criteria.
